The Cat Circus at Bexley Heritage Trust to coincide with the Quentin Blake exhibition ‘As Large as Life’

The Cat Circus and I have been awarded a fantastic opportunity to install ourselves alongside the Quentin Blake exhibition ‘As Large as Life’ at Bexley Heritage Trust. (Hall Place & Gardens, Bourne Road, Bexley, Kent, DA5 1PQ) The QB exhibition brings together nearly 60 works for hospitals which Quentin has produced over the last six years. It has been touring in various locations around the UK during the last year.

More info can be found on the Bexley Heritage trust website here:

The Cat Circus will be built in all its papier mache ‘large as life’ glory in Hall Place, the Halcot Gallery beside the QB show. I will be showing all three books I have produced for The Cat Circus, which will all be available to buy:

1. Limited edition signed and numbered book printed from original pen and watercolour book

2. Lithographic accordian book

3. Lino printed pop-up book

The exhibition opens on the 29th of March and continues until the 31st of August 2014. On the first Sunday of each month I will be in the gallery from 10am -2pm, demonstrating how one of my presses (the most portable one – 5 x 3 adana) operates and printing from lino blocks too.

Now, back to those cat towers…
